Vrinda: The last silk ikat dress has a mill made silk lining... which means I can't retail it at Daaram because the lining is not handloom. I did however recently send some tussar silk dresses from last year's monsoon collection to Daaram so you should go take a look.

Hi Anaka,
I LOVE the latest photoshoot. No offence to the lovely models you used for your previous seasons, it makes a BIG difference when you use someone who knows how to work the camera and make the clothes stand out. I like the outdoor shoot and the contrasting color of the clothes against the background and Suchitra and the photographer know how to make the clothes stand out and to make the woman look good in them. Both are very important for customer appeal.
I dont live in Chennai and my only feel for the clothes come from the website. I think the current season shoot, so far, is the best.(My clothes come from my mom who kindly takes my list to your store and picks them up for me).

Rupa: I see what you are saying, but we have done outdoor shoots before. I guess there have been fewer elements in the picture though- like shooting a model on the beach has less distractions than a model against a backdrop of greenery.

Nice shoot, however I felt that the earlier photos on your website emphasize your clothes really, really well...this one seems to have a lot of distractions, superb locale but outdoor photography/shoot would work great for example a magazine layout, but here the clothes seems to be lost!

Please don't take my comments in a negative way...just my viewpoint!

As an entrepenuer who wore all the hats in my business I know where you are and would have loved it if people offered me to help, so if you need help with creative props and stuff like that...I can help for FREE :)
